Overview

At Ambleside Central guest accommodation we provide very spacious double, twin and family rooms. Accommodation is newly refurbished in a contemporary style, and housed in a Victorian building which retains many of it's original features. Each room has either an en suite shower room or a private bathroom.

The rooms are furnished to a high standard, but we take a 'no frills' approach to our general facilities, enabling us to keep our room rates lower whilst still offering quality accommodation. We are rated a 4 Star Guest Accommodation by Visit Britian.

Your stay

Your stay with us will include crisp white bed linen on a good quality mattress, fresh white towels and lots of hot water. You will also find a TV and hairdryer in your room and can have use of an iron. Your room will be serviced daily between 10.30am and 2pm.

Delicious hot drinks, including filter coffees, teas and hot chocolate are available 24 hours.

We have limited secure parking at at an extra cost of £5 for the duration of your stay. Please enquire as to availability.

An information pack will be available in your room with emergency contacts, visitors attractions, eating places, parking information, a map of Ambleside and description of local walks.

Check in and collect keys from Tarantella Restaurant next door after 3pm. Rooms must be vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure.

Room Only

We are Room Only at Ambleside Central, which allows a more flexible morning. You can breakfast in Ambleside at your leisure from 8am onwards. There is a wide choice of cafes all within a very short walking distance, some serving an all day Full English Breakfast. We have breakfast menus in our room information packs to help you choose where to eat. You can also buy packed lunches at several places, if you're going out for the day.
